After consulting with the National Weather Service and observing current conditions, Harvey Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, 11/20/2024.

Weather Update: 2-Hour Late Start
Due to snowy and icy conditions, Harvey Public Schools will start 2 hours late tomorrow. Buses will run 2 hours later than normal.
We will continue monitoring road conditions and provide any additional updates by 8:00 AM if further changes are needed.

Weather Update: Timeline for Decisions
We’re closely monitoring conditions overnight to ensure the safety of our students and staff. Here’s the timeline for school decisions tomorrow:
By 5:00 AM: A decision on a late start will be made before buses begin their early routes.
By 8:00 AM: Final decision on the school day will be announced for late start schedules.
We’ll share updates as soon as decisions are made to help families plan. Thanks for your understanding as we prioritize safety!

I am working with the National Weather Service in Bismarck and will assess road conditions early Wednesday morning. Safety is our top priority, and we will update you promptly with any changes to school operations.

This morning, the student body listened to the class presidential debate. The candidates talked about school improvements and their leadership abilities. Election will take place next Tuesday.

The Hornets will host E-E-K in the first round of football playoffs next Saturday (Oct. 26) in Harvey. The game will start at 2:00 pm. Activity passes will NOT be able to be used.
