Attention Juniors--
Please bring your Chrombooks in to Mrs. Zerr ASAP! Thank you!

It's that time of year again! Senior Awards Night!

Mrs. Galvin took 8 students to Mandan today to participate in Demo Days. The event allows students from around North Dakota to get their hands on all sorts of heavy equipment including driving or operating the machines. Everything from big rig semis to skid steers, to cranes and scissor lifts was there. We even got a few pictures to commemorate the day. What a fun way for students to learn about machines and careers!

We're gonna be hopping at HHS this week!
Not only are sports events in full swing, but we are celebrating Mrs. Kathy Walsh, everyone's favorites FACS teacher & Mr. Mike Prom, our fantastic AD who are both retiring this year. Join us on Wednesday at Hometown Tavern to wish them well! 🥳
And... all week we are rallying to raise funds for sweet baby Edyn Storbeck. ❤️
Check out all the perks & prizes below. If we reach our thresholds, there will be some staff sporting some new style. 😉
Additionally an anonymous donor will match up to a $1000. Let's crush it!!🙌🏻

HHS is raising money to help the Storbeck family. Staff members have stepped up to volunteer for some great prizes as we reach our goals. Super excited to help a great family. If you want to help out, find your favorite 7-12 student and they can donate on your behalf. We also received a matching donation of up to $1000!!

Early Career Development classes have had some interesting projects lately. This week the 7th graders learned about being a Brand Inspector and created their own unique brands and made a sample using small ear tags. The 8th grade class learned about Extension Agents and how they do a lot of teaching. Students did a project showing how a cow's digestive system works using warm water, yeast and sugar. They all appreciate this project based learning. Mrs. Galvin appreciates the Careers in a Box sponsored by the Kirkeide Fellowship through the NDSU Foundation and CHS.

Be a hero. Join National Honor Society & Donate blood April 27!
