📚 Live Feed Update – Elementary Schedule for April 4th
We want to reassure our elementary families that school will be in session as normal on April 4th. The backup heating system in the elementary building is fully operational, and classrooms will be warm and ready for learning.
🚌 Buses will run their regular routes for elementary students in the morning and afternoon.
🎒 This change only affects students in grades 7–12, who will be participating in virtual learning for the day due to heating issues in the MS/HS building.
Thank you for your support and continued partnership. We look forward to welcoming our elementary students tomorrow!

📢 Live Feed Update – MS/HS Virtual Learning on April 4th
We want to inform our Middle School and High School families that students in grades 7–12 will shift to virtual learning on Friday, April 4th due to a breakdown in the building’s heating systems. With outdoor temperatures forecasted between 35–45°F, we are prioritizing the safety and comfort of our students and staff.
✅ Elementary students will attend school in person as normal.
🚌 Buses will only pick up elementary students in the morning.
🎉 Prom Decorating Reminder:
Juniors may still decorate for Prom during the day on Friday, but please dress warmly, as the building will not have consistent heat. We are working hard to have the heat restored by Saturday for the Prom dance.
Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we respond to this unexpected issue. Stay tuned for updates via our app and district channels.

🎥 Live Weather Update – April 2, 2025 🎥
We just got off the phone with the National Weather Service. Here’s what you need to know:
🌨 Snow is expected to stop around 10 PM tonight in Wells County.
💨 Winds will stay strong overnight—around 20 mph—leading to drifting and blowing snow.
🚌 Roads will likely fill in, so Harvey Public Schools will start 2 hours late tomorrow (Thursday, April 3).
This gives our buses time to follow the snowplows and helps keep everyone safe.
Thank you for your flexibility and support—stay warm and stay safe out there!

🚨 Harvey Public Schools – Late Start Alert 🚨
We will begin classes at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 2nd due to expected slick roads and overnight snowfall.
We’ve been in touch with the National Weather Service, and safety is our top priority. ❄️🚌
Please share with others and stay safe out there!
