Winter sports fans:
After away games HWC boys and girls basketball teams will return to their locker rooms, shower, change and get on bus to return home. We will not be meeting with parents and fans on the opponents court. If you need to see your student athlete you can see them as they get on the bus before we leave. If there are any questions please direct them to Mike Prom

All the while supporting a cause close to our ❤️s-- Baby Edyn Storbeck who is recovering from heart surgery & getting in fighting shape for her next surgery in a couple months.

The Junior Class Craft Fair is next weekend!

Physics students built toothpick bridges and today was the integrity test to see the size load they could carry.









Our final career exploration activity for October was for 9th and 10th grade. Students went to the Minot Career Expo where they had many opportunities for hands on experiences in several fields including the state DOT, electrical, medical, police & fire departments and more! Several colleges were also present so students could visit about programming and fields of study.





HHS Students in 11th & 12th Grade attended T4 Summit at Dakota College in Bottineau last week. Experiences in everything from welding to electrics, healthcare to cybersecurity.







HHS Students in 7th & 8th grades went to the T4 Summit at Dakota College Bottineau recently. They were exposed to several careers and hands on experiences from medical to welding and beyond. It was an exciting trip with fun for all!










All 11th and 12th grade students will be going to the T4 Conference tomorrow, October 23. Please be at school before 8am to board the bus. Students are reminded to dress for the cooler weather as we will be walking between buildings. Students can bring a sack lunch if they have food allergies, otherwise a lunch will be provided. We will be back by 3:30. Students involved in volleyball will be back earlier to catch the bus for the game.
Looking ahead to next week --

Parents of 7th and 8th Grade Students, tomorrow (WEDNESDAY 10/22) is the day for your students to go to the T4 Summit! Please have them to school before 8am so we can leave promptly at 8 for Bottineau. We will spend part of the day outside, please have them wear pants & sweatshirts/jackets as the forecast is for temps in the 50s. Students with food allergies may bring their own lunch and are expected to leave cell phones at home or in the office.
Attention Parents of students in Grades 11 & 12: All students will be attending the T4 Summit in Bottineau on Thursday, October 23rd. Please have your student to school before 8am as we will leave promptly at 8am. Students will participate in hands-on activities related to Tools, Torque, Tech and Trades.
