Coach Justin Stanley graduated from Brookings High School (SD) in 1999, where he played American Legion Baseball for the Brookings Bandits. He then went on to play at Fergus Falls Community College, winning the Minnesota State Community College State tournament in 2002. Justin transferred to the University of Mary to continuing his playing career, while earning his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Physical Education in 2005. He received a master’s degree in 2009, as well as his Elementary and Secondary Principal’s Credentials in 2014.
Justin has coached youth, high school and collegiate baseball throughout his career. He won three consecutive state championships coaching the Bismarck 14-year old Babe Ruth all-stars, and twice finishing as the runner-up at the Midwest Regionals. He served as an assistant coach at Bismarck High School, being on staff for the the 2014 State Championship team. He is in his fifth year as the Secondary Principal at Harvey High School, along with his second year as the Head Baseball Coach. He and his wife, Deann, have five children ages 2, 6, 7, 12 and 14.
